This is an active variable HPF that offers you the ability to select a cut-off frequency anywhere inside the range 200Hz-20Hz by using the respective knob. The filter’s curve is quite steep offering a 12dB/octave attenuation. It’s the ideal device if you are looking for something to help you “clean up” the low end of your signal. It will work fine with active or passive instruments, as well as with other devices such as pedals, preamps, or even in FX loops.
