This is a simple switcher-router for XLR signals (mic or other).
The signal of any device connected to the yellow input can be routed either to the black or to the orange output depending on where you set the toggle switch.
The device doesn't need power supply and it doesn't affect the signal at all as no circuitry is involved in the switching or the routing of the signal.
