AB Switcher with 2 inputs & 2 outputs, buffered & isolated via audio trasnformer.
This actually is an A/B Box that
features two inputs and two outputs. Two footswitches give you the
ability to select which output(s) will be active: (A/B) or BOTH.
When the GROUND LIFT switch is
engaged output-B becomes isolated through an audio transformer; for the same channel there is also a PHASE FLIP (reverse)
feature available.
Inputs A&B have a common ground, the isolation is only applied in the output in order to avoid ground loops and hum.
This switcher can be used in order to route
two signals (e.g. the L & R channels of your stereo effects) into
different amps and also be able to switch them on/off in real time, as
you see fit.
The ground lift feature and the audio transformer ensures that you will not have ground hum/noise problems.
