Suitable for both bass and guitar or any other instrument with similar pickups.
This buffered splitter has three TS (6.35mm) outputs with 2 of them being isolated using audio transformers.
The isolated outputs are also equipped with Phase-Reverse switches (180˚) and they are both are compatible with either balanced or unbalanced equipment. Output-1 has a common ground with the Input.
An extra 4th output is offered in balanced mode via the XLR connector which is equipped with a ground-lift switch.
Input & Output jacks are all top-mounted to save you space on your board.
Now you have the ability to split the signal of your instrument into multiple separate outputs without degrading your signal's clarity or tone. Each one of the outputs is equal to the input.
examples of use:
- Send your instrument's signal to multiple amps simultaneously avoiding ground loops..
- Send your signal into three devices (e.g. pedalboards or amps), and a recording device, through the XLR-output. While you play and hear your actual sound, you can record your clean signal at the same time. (in case you need it e.g. for re-amping)
- It also serves as a buffer.
- Use as many of the outputs you desire, just leave the unused outputs unconnected.
▹ Voltage Required: DC 9-18 Volt (using 12-18V gives you more headroom)
[Do not exceed recommended voltage! It may damage the circuit.]
