2-Input Mixer for cello, with filters +extras

mixer for cello with piezo pickups
2-Input Mixer customized for use with Cello piezo pickups.
The mixer features two input channels (A, B) with very high input impedance (10MΩ) so that it can be used with instruments equipped with piezo pickups. Of course, it's also compatible with typical magnetic pickups. This specific custom version is also equipped with filters suitable for use with cello, boost function with a wide range (0-20dB) and it also features variable output impedance to help the user combine this mixer with vintage effects (e.g. older fuzzes) that "prefer" to see higher output impedances from the previous stage.

It features separate controls for each channel:
  • Input Volume control
  • Variable Low Pass Filter (16,5kHz - 220Hz)
  • Variable High Pass Filter (200Hz - 20Hz)
and additional controls for the output:
  • Boost control (0dB to 20dB)
  • Variable output impedance (~0 - 220kΩ)
Additionally, a phase inversion switch is available for channel-B in order to help you overcome any phasing issues that may come up.

The mixer can handle instrument level signals and higher line level signals as well. If you need more headroom you can use a power supply larger than 9V (max. 24V).
