ChugSaw is a guitar distortion that gives you that classic Swedish chainsaw sound that many Death'n'Roll and Death metal bands have been using since the 90s.
While it is based on that classic, widely known circuit we tried to increase its functionality a little bit in this this version with the addition of two toggle switches for mids shaping.
- The right toggle switch (2-positions) changes the sharpness of the mids Q-factor. (left=less sharp, right=sharper)
- The left toggle switch (3-positions) offers you three different settings for mids by actually changing the width of the mids spectrum.
- Setting both these toggle switches at their rightmost positions gives you the original tone
** Note 2: The max available volume has been boosted, so setting the volume to max position can lead into extremely loud sound. So if you have the gain at max the volume will be significantly loud and depending on what you have in front of the ChugSaw if you decide to max-up the volume you might encounter oscillations. Some people find this useful, other do not. Anyway it's easily avoidable.
