This ABY Splitter offers three equal outputs A,B & Thru. Output-B is isolated using an audio transformer in order to help you avoid ground loops when using two amps simoultaneously. The isolation is applied when the Ground Lift switch is engaged. To avoid phasing problems when using two amps there is also a Phase Flip switch available for output-B which reverses the phase of your signal if required.
The THRU-output can be used to connect e.g. a tuner or to send your signal to another pedal chain or for recording reasons. Output-B, THRU and Input share a common ground.
The A/B-footswitch allows you to choose your active output (A or B) while the Y-footswitch when engaged it activates both channels at once. The switching between channels is totally silent and pop-free. The input stage is buffered with high impedance JFETs in order to pickup your instrument's signal the best way possible without affecting your tone. The audio trasformer has a flat response from 20Hz to 20kHz so that it doesn't distort your signal.
▹Voltage Required: DC 9-15 Volt (using 15Volts gives you more headroom)
[Do not exceed recommended voltage! It may damage the circuit.]
▹ Max Current draw: 10mA @ 9V
▹ Input impedance: 5MΩ
▹ Output impedance: <1kΩ
▹ Frequency response: 20Hz-20KHz
▹ Equipped with indicative LEDs to show you when the pedal is powered.
