NEMESIS Fuzz (lite) High-Gain (Νέμεσις)

dpFX NEMESIS Guitar Fuzz/distortion, dual gain, high gain (Νέμεσις)
Dual gain fuzz pedal for high gain freaks!
NEMESIS provides two distinctive modes, FAT & skinny, a choice between LO & HI gain and a BLAST foot-switch that gives you the ability to reach extremely gain levels with one touch. The gain can vary from high gain distortion levels to extreme fuzz.
A pedal suitable for a variety of music genres, from classic garage tones to heavy rock, stoner and doom tunes. Highly recommended for drone and experimental projects.
  • GAIN knob: sets the gain, it can vary from simple distortion levels (in LO mode) up-to extreme fuzz (in HI mode).
  • GAIN switch: select HI or LOW gain mode.
  • skinny/FAT switch1.Skinny: extra mids & highs2.FAT: extra low-end and fat sound.
  • VOL.: sets the output volume
  • BLAST footswitch: when engaged it pushes the gain to the maximum (it's like turning the Gain knob fully clockwise and setting the gain toggle switch in the 'HI' position at the same time). This feature gives you the ability to have a specific, let's say lo-gain set-up on your pedal and by stepping on the BLAST foot-switch you can push the gain to the maximum

Nomenclature:
In ancient Greece, Nemesis (Greek: Νέμεσις), also called Rhamnousia/ Rhamnusia ("the goddess of Rhamnous") was the goddess who enacted retribution against those who succumb to "hybris" (arrogance before the gods). Another name was Adrasteia/ Adrestia, meaning "the inescapable".
She was also a goddess of indignation against and retribution for evil deeds and undeserved good fortune.
The poet Mesomedes wrote a hymn to Nemesis in the early second century AD, where he addressed her:
"Nemesis, winged balancer of life, dark-faced goddess, daughter of Justice"
and mentioned her "adamantine bridles" that restrain "the frivolous insolences of mortals".
