A reverb that matches the sound of a triple spring reverb.
"STYX" is a D/A hybrid reverb resembling a triple-spring reverb sound but with extra added features that make it more versatile. The REFLECT feature gives you the ability to control the delay time of the dominant virtually reflected wave, setting it up-to 150msec. With this this function you can adjust the character of the reverb creating a variety of sounds, from typical mild reverb to chaotic reflections. ROOM SIZE knob varies the size of the virtual room and allows you to adjust the 3D-depth of your reverb. Maximizing the ROOM SIZE gives a you a unique feedback effect. The MOD feature allows you to add a ripple-modulation with controllable frequency (RATE), giving a more "psyched-up" effect your sound
Note that your dry signal goes through the pedal to the output with a completely analog way without being changed or "colored".
REVERB: adjusts the amount of reverb that is added to your clean signal.

In Greek mythology, "Styx" is a deity and a river that forms the boundary between Earth and the Underworld (the domain often called Hades, which also is the name of its ruler).
The rivers Styx, Phlegethon, Acheron, Lethe and Cocytus all converge at the center of the underworld on a great marsh, which sometimes is also called the Styx. According to Herodotus, the river Styx originates near 'Feneos'.
"Styx" is also a goddess with prehistoric roots in Greek mythology as a daughter of "Tethys", after whom the river is named and because of whom it had miraculous powers.
